Stephen loves his new potty. Now we just wait and see what happens. I think I will have him sit on it a couple times a day just to get used to the idea.
When you’re ready to really get him to try (18 months is kind of early – especially for a boy) set a timer every 15 minutes, when it goes off have him sit on it. Eventually, he will go and once he sees how excited you get that should make him want to go more often. It’s definitely something that you have to devote a couple days to so that he knows that once that timer goes off, it’s time to sit on the potty.
How cool! That would be great to have him potty trained when the baby comes! I know that is probably wishful thinking – but I am still sending potty training vibes your way.

I know it is still early. I noticed some signs that he was realizing when he poops and pees, so I just want to introduce the potty to him.
