This time he lasted until 4am. There was a moment were I thought that he was going to be up the for the day. Why is it that when Stephen gets a new tooth it is never just one? He gets four at a time!! Is that normal?! The poor kid. I noticed the onces trying to come through on the bottom, but 2 on top busted through already. So he kind of has unusual fangs. I just hope he doesn’t inherit my bad teeth! Anyone want to place bets on what time he will start screaming tonight?

What were you doing at 1:30 am?
Me, I was up with a screaming almost 14 month old. Why you ask? The only solution I can come up with is the dreaded teething. The cure was some tylenol, a bottle, and rolling around on the ground with his blankie and puppy along with the sporatic (sp.) screams. I noticed a couple days ago that his bottom gums were lumpy, so those suckers must be busting through. I hope tonight is better.

Some things that Stephen has recently learned to do:
1. Pick his nose CONSTANTLY (Do I ignore it or spend my entire day saying no and taking his finger out of his nostril?)
2. Walk backwards
3. Dance (see video from previous post)
4. Give kisses, the wide open mouth slobbery ones. I love it!
5. Head- Butt. I have video that I will post eventually, it is to funny. He actually does it really hard that it hurts my head but somehow it doesn’t bother him one bit.
6. Jump on the couch- yikes
7. Climb in and out of the bath-tub (also very scary)
8. Throws temper tantrums, those are great. He clenches his fists, sits on the ground and screams when he doesn’t get his way.
9. He now has to have BOTH of his blankies, we used to be able to switch back and forth

Thats right folks, I am home again. I had a mild side effect of a personal nature that got me kicked off the study. I was able to come home on Friday. Waiting for Robin to come and get me was the longest 2 hours of my life. I swear I felt like I was 16 again waiting to get picked up for a first date or something. I had butterflies in my stomach and tears of joy when I finally saw him and Stephen. I had prepared myself for the worst when it came to Stephen. I wasn’t quite sure how he was going to react since he hadn’t seen me for such a long time. He was a little standoff-ish but I was probably squeezing him a little to tight and smoothering him with a few to many kisses. I can not explain how happy I am to be back home. To celebrate my homecoming Robin and I went out to dinner and the out for drinks after. I, again, had to much to drink and had the worst hangover of my life today. I swear I am never doing that again. Anyways, all is well in the Donchess household once again and I am glad to be back.

I spend my time thinking of ways to get out of here but still get paid. Here is what I’ve come up with:
1. Refuse to eat every meal of everyday ( I think I would just be very hungry, but they’d keep me anyway)
2. Do a crazy amount of jumping jacks and run in place for awhile in the bathroom with the shower on so my cardiac enzyme levels are to elevated for me to continue to dose (they would just wake me up at the butt crack of dawn to take my blood every day to see if they dropped again)
3. Hold my breath when they check our vitals in the morning (I can’t hold my breath that long, seriously does it really take 15 min to check blood pressure, pluse, and respirations? A machine does it for you for crying out loud!!!!
I am up for any other suggestions… Of course I can leave at anytime, but then they don’t pay me as much. NOT AN OPTION!!! So for now I will continue to shop for houses online (I think I found the perfect house) and work on my secret project. Later!
